Transfer - Settlements
This screen will only be shown if you have previously indicated that at least one transferee is to be a limited owner.
If there is a settlement, enter the details of the document containing the settlement e.g. ‘Transfer dated dd/mm/yyyy and made between X of one part and Y of other part’.
If you wish to record the names of the Remaindermen in the transfer, you will see a list of all transferees who are to become limited owners.
For each name shown, you may enter the names and addresses of each Remainderman. Where they hold the land as Tenants in Common, you should also enter their share.
Where an input is made, such as “Paul Jones of 10 High Street, Bangor, Co Down as a Tenant in Common of an undivided third share” it will result in the transferee’s details appearing on the generated form as e.g. ‘John Smith of 10 Rossdale Road, Bangor BT19 6BE a Tenant in Common of an undivided third share for life and thereafter to Paul Jones of 10 High Street, Bangor, Co Down as Tenant in Common of an undivided sixth share.’
