Deed of Postponement

Where a registered charge is to be postponed in favour of a subsequent charge, a Deed of Postponement (Precedent 8.J) should be executed by the owner of the existing charge, and this should be lodged in the Registry together with:

(i) the relevant Land Certificate;

(ii) the Certificate of Charge relating to the charge being postponed,

(iii) the new charge (normally in duplicate)

Witnesseth that CD Bank Limited as owner of a Charge registered on the above folio on .......... 20.. hereby postpones the said Charge to the charge dated .......... 20.. created by the above-named registered owner in favour of the Society.

This postponement relates only to the aforesaid Charge in favour of the Society and to no other.
