First Registration - Settlement Details


Note that this screen will only be displayed if one or more applicants are to become limited owners.
If there is a Settlement, a free text field will be revealed allowing you to record full details of the document containing the settlement (to appear in Panel 3 of Form 1/LD1).
If you opt to add settlement details, you will also be given the opportunity to record details of Trustees under the Settled Land Acts 1882 to 1890.  
When entering Trustee Details, you must enter each Trustee’s name separately.  The Trustee’s title e.g. Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr Etc is not required.
If you do wish to record Trustee details, at least two must be added (if only one trustee is added, this will not be recorded on the folio).
Any settlement/trustee details created on this screen can be viewed in the form by clicking on  and then clicking 'View PDF' to open a draft version of Form 1/LD1.  The details entered will be displayed in Panel 3 (Limited Ownership).
