First Registration - Date of Acquisition

Where more than one Deed exists, only the earliest date shown on the Deeds need be entered.
Where a period of 3 months has elapsed since the acquisition deed, the transaction becomes void.
However, an application for extension of time may be made under Schedule 2 part 2 of the Act, if the application could not have been made within the prescribed period without incurring unreasonable expense or if the application could not have been made by reason of some accident of other sufficient cause.
The system will determine if an extension of time is required. Where this is required, further information will be requested and, a Request for Extension of Time will automatically be added to the certifying panel of Form 1/Form LD1
