First Registration - Applicant Details
When entering “Yes” in response to either of the questions: “Did the owner purchase the land from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive?” or “Is the owner Northern Ireland Co-Ownership Housing Association Limited?”, care should be exercised since this information will be used at a later point in the E-Registration process.
If the owner purchased the land from the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, questions will be asked later to determine if Discount Charges and/or Buy Back Charges apply.
If the owner is now Northern Ireland Co-Ownership Housing Association Limited, you will be able to record details of a Lease to Participant at a later stage.
If the owner is not Northern Ireland Co-Ownership Housing Association Limited, you will be asked to manually enter the name(s) of the applicants. For each applicant created you will be asked if you wish to use an address previously entered for this transaction. Using this option will allow you to select addressable property details previously entered for this registration, and will also allow you to share address details between applicants.
When entering Owner Details, you must enter each owner’s name separately. Only enter the owner name in this field – not the address. The owner’s title e.g. Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr Etc is not required. You must ensure that you enter the owner name correctly as this is how information will be recorded on the register and on the complete documentation.
When you have added an applicant, clicking 'View PDF' will open a draft version of Form 1/LD1. The applicant details entered will be displayed in Panel 2 (Applicants).
