First Registration - Appurtenances

First Registration - Appurtenances

If you choose to record Appurtenances for this registration, a list of all documents already added on the Roots of Title and Deeds of Acquisition screens will be shown, and you may add an Appurtenance to any of these documents, or create new documents for the purpose of recording an Appurtenance.

Each Appurtenance added in this way will appear as a separate chargeable transaction on the Case Folder Details screen and on the Form 100E.

If you wish to add details of a new document, selecting ' Copy of Originals' from this list will require further information as to why the original documentation is not being supplied. Panel 9 of the Form 1/LD1 generated by the system will contain a list of all documents to be supplied in Copy Original Format for this registration.

When entering party details, if there is more than one party name it is sufficient to enter the first name and “another” (if one other name is involved) or “and others” (if more than one other name is involved).

If there is a map attached to the selected deed, and the right(s) are shown on that map, you should describe how the right is shown on the map attached to the deed.  Do not show the colouring on the ACE or Land Registry map which will be attached to the Form 1/LD1.  Mapping of this right will not be carried out by Land Registry however, an entry relating to the claim of an appurtenance will be entered on the register.

All Appurtenances can be viewed by clicking on 'View PDF' and checking Panel 6 of the Form 1/LD1.
