Provision of maps for registration purposes
Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland branded ACEmap® (Address Centred Extract) may be obtained from Land & Property Services Customer Information Centre.
It is a requirement that the deed map be supplied on an Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland® (OSNI®) branded map of the largest surveyed scale. Where the land to be registered cannot be clearly shown on such a map, an accurately scaled enlargement must accompany the OSNI map.
Where the land to be registered abuts land which is already registered, it may be possible to use a LandWeb Direct produced copy map of the registered folio as the basis of your submission. Note: the land the subject of the application must be clearly and uniquely identified so that it does not conflict with any of the colouring shown on the copy map.
Where the map being supplied is a photocopy of an original, care must be taken to ensure that the map has not been distorted by the photocopying process. If during the registration process a map has been found to be distorted in this way, completion of the application may be delayed.
